Spring Finances is an expense tracker for the self-employed in Portugal. Photograph an invoice, review what AI extraction fills in (amount, date, vendor and tax number), and share your expenses with your accountant through a read-only link.
Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect it, Spring Finances gets read-only access (the gmail.readonly scope) only to find receipts and invoices in your mailbox and import the ones you select or that match the automatic-import rules you enable. With automatic import enabled, matching receipts can be imported and sent for AI extraction without you reviewing each message first.
Candidate sender and subject headers, which may include emails that are not receipts, and rule descriptions you enter may be sent to OpenAI to suggest or interpret import filters and rules. Imported receipt content is sent to OpenAI to extract expense data. We never send, change or delete your email. You can turn off automatic import or disconnect Gmail in Settings (Definições in the app).
